Pools quoted in other tokens
Pools priced in USDC, USD1, PUMP or another known token are converted to SOL, so your balance stays in SOL.
> in plain words
- Some coins trade against USDC or another token, not SOL.
- Trial converts the price to SOL, so your balance stays in SOL.
- A non-SOL pool with under $10,000 of liquidity is refused.
Three pools agree closely. The middle reading is the rate.

The conversion
The rate is the median reading from at least three distinct SOL pools within a 15 second window. Token USD price divided by that rate gives SOL per token. One unusual pool cannot set the rate on its own.
USDC, USDT, USD1 and PYUSD must stay within 2% of their $1 peg to produce a new quote.

pool C $150.0. The median: the middle of the sorted readings. This is the rate.
Example readings. The middle reading of the sorted pools sets the rate.
The $10,000 floor
A pool quoted in something other than SOL or an allowlisted stablecoin needs at least $10,000 of known pool liquidity. Below that, it is refused as thin_pool. This checks the traded pool, not the quote token’s own depth.
An unknown quote token or a coin paired with itself cannot be traded. Missing or stale conversion data can leave a carried mark visible, but that mark cannot fill an order.
